Those tea and biscuit drawings I'd done were part of my college summer project about conversation. I'd got a bit stuck with new ideas, so instead of coming up with something new, went back to the teapots, and made a book. I like making books, but by the time I'd finished I was absolutely exhausted! And my desk ended up looking like this:
It was my grandparents's wedding anniversary yesterday. As a present, I did a drawing of their house - put one in a frame and made a set of notelets, too. They were pretty pleased :)
And finally, my aunt & uncle have just moved to Edinburgh, so I made them a new home card. There seems to be a great deal of "Now, Lucy...it's so-and-so's birthday/anniversay/moving day/whatever coming up...I don't suppose you could...." lately! Not that I mind - it's nice to actually make things for a purpose :)

that is a mighty cute book!! how did you bind it..? i always find it hard to bind my own notebooks. they never seem to be together for very long.
Thank you! I've got this narrow double sided sticky tape that I used to bind it. I seriously don't know what I'd do without double sided tape! How long it will stay together in one piece though, I don't know...
oh i have narrow double sided tape too! do you by any chance know that double sided tape comes in a roller? i thought i might share it =) cause i can't live without that. it saves you time since you won't have to peel out the white paper, you just need to roll it. the downside is, it's more expensive and it's not so thin.
