a kick-start

Face in the hole!

Graduation is fast(ish) approaching, and in order to exhibit at the South East Essex College graduate exhibition, New Designers and D&AD next summer, we need to raise some money. So, we're organizing The Christmas Crawl of Carnage. Scarves screenprinted by ourselves will be sold as tickets, enabling free entry and deals on drinks in bars around Southend on the 18th December (come down if you can!).

Today was Face In The Hole day. We put together a little event at college to spread the word of the CCofC, and it went well! Loads of people were up for putting their face in the hole and getting their photo taken, and some of the photos will end up on the posters advertising the pub crawl.

Fun times!

I know it's only November, but...

I didn't really want to think about it quite so soon, but I thought I should probably get my act together and list some christmas cards on the shops! It's the return of the Hoppy Christmas cards again, for all your rabbit-related christmas card needs. I'm hoping to get a bit of time to put together a non-rabbit-themed card at some point, too, don't worry.

It's a pick me up

I've come to the end of the D&AD brief to advertise Metro newspapers. The idea behind it all was that Metro is a 'pick me up', both literally and metaphorically. Did a bit of Photoshopping to see how the posters might look in situ, too.

It's been quite a nice brief, actually. Haven't done a project like this in a while - but I must admit I'm getting a bit twitchy that I've not been drawing much lately..!
